I have been painting and drawing fantasy and historical scenes for a long time, but I had a burning desire to create a visual linking Vikings and metal. Amon Amarth has been one of my favorite bands for nearly 20 years, and Johan Hegg is undeniably one of my favorite singers. So I decided to pay tribute to them with an illustration combining berserkers and members of the band, and... voilà!
